Making it a Reality
Never before has there been an opportunity to access the expertise of an Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA)-accredited invertebrate zoo to build a bee habitat in your backyard. We offer a full spectrum of installation and maintenance services to ensure your hive’s success.
Site Assessment and Hive Installation
Our beekeeping experts come to you to help you install your first package of bees. This process involves an assessment of the best place to install your hive, as well as step-by-step instruction on how to get started and help your bees settle in.
Once you have your new hive installed, our beekeeping experts can assess hive health and train you in various aspects required to keep it thriving. Services include one-on-one training and implementation of hive splitting, pest management, queen installation, and overwintering preparation.
Why this Matters
By engaging our beekeeping experts to build a healthy hive, you’re not only promoting your own happiness and well-being, but you’re contributing to a thriving ecosystem for all of us. Bees from your hive will contribute essential pollination services to your community and have an incredible impact on environmental sustainability.
