One-Time Opportunities
Public Event Volunteer
The Butterfly Pavilion is seeking group or individual volunteers who are interested in helping with our public events throughout the year. We generally look for enthusiastic adults (ages 16 and over) who enjoy sharing new information with children and adults of all ages. Assistance might come in the form of learning a fun, easy-to-learn activity to share with families or helping ensure our visitors have a fantastic time during the event.
These events are a fun way to help on a one-time basis at the Butterfly Pavilion and get involved sharing our message of respect for invertebrates by encouraging our visitors to learn more about these fascinating creatures and their importance in our everyday lives! In each event, we work with different audiences to bring this message to the local community. We typically seek volunteers for a 4-hour shift (9:30 am - 1:30 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm) that includes orientation and food.
Please let us know how you’d like to help by completing our Public Event-Volunteer Application Form if you are interested in making a difference for invertebrates!
