One-Time Opportunities
Public Event Volunteer
The Butterfly Pavilion is seeking group volunteers that are interested in helping with our community events throughout the year. We generally look for enthusiastic adults (16 and over or younger groups with a responsible adult) who enjoy sharing new information with children and adults of all ages. Assistance might come in the form of learning a fun, easy-to-learn activity to share with families or helping our seniors navigate the Pavilion for the first time.
These events are a fun way to help on a one-time basis at the Butterfly Pavilion and get involved sharing our message of respect for invertebrates, encouraging our visitors to learn more about these fascinating creatures, and their importance in our everyday lives! In each event, we work with different audiences to bring this message to the local community. We seek volunteers for two 4-hour shifts each day, 9:30 am -1:30 pm or 1:00-5:00, unless otherwise noted. Please complete the Public Event Volunteer Form if you are interested in helping with any of these fun events!
