Did You Know?

The Butterfly Pavilion was the nation's first stand-alone non-profit insect zoo. In its exhibits visitors see and interact with live invertebrates from around the globe.

Spineless Spotlights
There’s always something new to discover with our daily programming. Whether your child loves art, stories, science or nature, our daily programming is packed with fun, learning and surprises! The programs change often, so you can always count on something new and exciting!

Spineless Spotlights are free educational programs offered during the course of the day at the Butterfly Pavilion. These are entertaining opportunities for our visitors to learn even more about our amazing invertebrates! Our programs are interactive and appropriate for all ages. All have an audience participation component; several feature live animals.
