New Exhibit: Dr. Entomo's Palace of Exotic Wonders - Open April 9 through August 22, 2010
Ever come face to face with a “Devil with Two Heads”, challenged a Sumo Bug or experienced the Glowing Terror of a scorpion? Now you can! Discover these and other remarkable creatures at the Butterfly Pavilion as you explore Dr. Entomo’s Palace of Exotic Wonders. Featuring over two dozen living invertebrates, Dr. Entomo’s includes encounters with live animals and an active play area for children under 5. Open from April 10 through August 22, 2010. Plant Conservation Day - May 29, 2010
Dig, plant, touch, smell, and grow. Join us Saturday, May 29, for a full day of plants – up close and personal. We’ll have hands-on tours, classes, family activities, and a native plant sale. It’s a day filled with activities and lectures for conservationists, gardeners, and nature-lovers alike! Ehe event also includes free garden tours, and an informational fair featuring various conservation organizations and businesses. Garden tours will explore the Pavilion’s Discovery garden and nature trail. The Butterfly Pavilion features 11-acres of public gardens open year-round.

Insectival (an insect carnival) - July 10 & 11, 2010
Come one, come all and experience the strange, the unexplainable, and the unspeakable world of insects at the Butterfly Pavilion’s annual Insectival event. Explore the wonderful world of bugs in their strange splendor at this insect carnival on July 10 and 11. The event will feature more than two dozen activities including entertainers, carnival games, craft stations, insect hunts, “petting” zoos, cockroach races, face painting, bug eating contests, information fair and so much more. The event is included with the price of admission with some activities requiring carnival tickets that can be purchased at the door. The event marks the Butterfly Pavilion's 15th Anniversary!

Bug A Boo Halloween Event - October 23 & 24, 2010
Enjoy two days of spooktacular fun at the Butterfly Pavilion's annual Halloween event. Each year a new theme transforms the Butterfly Pavilion. The event includes trick-o-treating, crafts, carnival games, activities, exhibits with lives animals, and so much more. It provides a safe, educational and fun experience for the whole family.
