Step right up, step right up...experience the strange, the unexplainable, the unspeakable world of insects at the Butterfly Pavilion's annual Insectival event! Explore the wonderful world of bugs in their strange splendor at this insect carnival. Reminiscent of a traditional carnival, the event features more than two-dozen activities including an information fair featuring science and cultural organizations. Event included with admission with some activities requiring tickets, available for purchase at the door.

*Magic Shows are 15-20 minutes long and offered at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Caricature drawings are offered between shows.

The Butterfly Pavilion combines science education with interactive fun to teach visitors about invertebrates and conservation. Our five immersive exhibits, including our rainforest filled with 1,600 free-flying tropical butterflies, provide a year-round, unforgettable experience. Visitors can get up close and personal with live animals, enjoy daily educational programs, explore the wonder of the outdoors on the nature trail, and discover the newest traveling exhibit. Butterflies are just the beginning.
