* Party packages do not include food, beverage, plates, cups, or utensils. You may bring in your own food, decorations and/or have pizza delivered to the Butterfly Pavilion. Alcohol is prohibited.
** Exhibit access begins at the time the party starts. Check-in is 10-15 minutes prior to the party.

* Membership benefits/passes cannot be applied to birthday party packages. All participants are counted as part of the party.
Educational and Fun Add-on Options
Make your Own Butterfly Craft Project! - $25
Who doesn't love crafts, especially when they include butterflies? Party participants will make their own colored butterfly that they will get to take home. All supplies and instructions are provided and guided by a Birthday Party Ambassador.
Buggy Story Time and Puppet Show - $25
Is your little one fascinated with books or have an expansive imagination? If so, make sure to add-on a story time and puppet show! Enjoy a 20-minute story time and puppet show presentation with stories about fireflies, hermit crabs, caterpillars and more!
Live Animal Encounter - $40
Get up close and personal with the Butterfly Pavilion's ambassador animals including Rosie, the Butterfly Pavilion's friendly Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula. Children will learn all about Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Scorpions and other fascinating animals through a hands-on 30-40 minute education presentation. Party participants will then get to hold Rosie for a photo opportunity.
Mascot "Pete the Praying Mantis" Appearance & Guided Tour- $75
Schedule a surprise guest appearance from Pete the Praying Mantis for the perfect picture moment! Pete and his "handler" will provide fun exciting facts about mantids and other invertebrates as you visit our exhibits together. The average Pete visit and tour lasts 40 minutes.
Fun Add-on Products
Goodie Bags - $4/per bag
Don't worry about running to the party store and assembling goodie bags. Let us do the work! We have pre-made, bug-themed goodie bags perfect for boys and girls. The educational goodie bag will provide your guests hours of enjoyment after the party ends!

Butterfly Pavilion Gift Shop Gift Cards - $5/per card
Make your take home gift easy by letting the kids choose what they want directly out of our gift shop! Purchase a $5 gift card for each guest to use in the Butterfly Pavilion gift shop.
Bug Songs CD - $7/per CD
Give a take-home treat that the kids can enjoy for years to come! Bug Songs is not your typical children's CD. It's actually fun for both kids and adults! Bug Songs was birthed from the idea of having fun and educational songs that could be used at elementary schools to teach kids about insects. With this purpose in mind, Bug Songs was written, produced and recorded by Tom Cornwell.
Adopt-A-Butterfly Package - price varies from $12 to $115/per package
Add that special element to your child's birthday party that keeps giving long after the party ends. Add an Adopt-A-Butterfly package for the birthday child or all the guests as little as $12 per package. Purchasing an Adopt-A- Butterfly Package helps to fund local and global conservation projects. Booking a Party/Payment Requirements

A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking and remaining balance will be due prior to the end of the party on the day of the party. Visitors will check in with the Birthday Party Ambassador 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of the party time. The Birthday Party Ambassador will greet your party and direct educational add-on activities!
*Please note: Starting January 1, 2012, the Butterfly Pavilion birthday party program will no longer include the following elements:
Helium balloons for each child
Decorations (i.e. plates, table clothes, napkins, cups, forks, spoons)
Ice Cream
Capri Sun drinks
Oreo cookie package
