Party Packages
Birthday parties are available year round in our private party rooms, or in our beautiful outdoor gazebo from June 2nd through September 16th. Birthday parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays only.Our party package includes a private room for two hours and General Admission into our exhibits for all of your guests. Guests can enter the exhibits any time after the party starts, and stay until we close at 5:00pm.

- Guest count includes children (2 and over) and adults.
- You pay a $50 deposit when you book your party, and you give us an estimate of your guest count. We take a final count with you at the party, and adjust your balance accordingly.
- Additional guests beyond the booked party package are $7.00 per each guest. ($8 after May 31st)
- Membership benefits/passes cannot be applied to birthday party packages; all participants are counted as part of the party.
- Membership discounts do not apply to party add-on options.
- Booking between June 2nd and September 16th? Consider having your party in our outdoor gazebo!

- Birthday child receives his or her very own buggy birthday gift
- You may bring in your own food, decorations and/or have pizza delivered to the Butterfly Pavilion; alcohol is prohibited.

Educational and Fun Add-on Options
Make your Own Butterfly Craft Project! - $25 (Indoor parties only!)
Who doesn't love crafts, especially when they include butterflies? Party participants will make their own colored butterfly that they will get to take home. All supplies and instructions are provided and guided by a Birthday Party Ambassador.
Buggy Story Time - $25 ($35 after May 31st)
Is your little one fascinated with books or have an expansive imagination? If so, make sure to add-on a story time! Enjoy a 20-minute story time and meet the real animal from the story book!
Buggy Bubble Boogie - $25 (Outdoor parties only!)($35 after May 31st)
Surround yourself with bubbles and underwater beats while you pick up some groovy new moves inspired by invertebrate friends from under the sea! Jig like a jellyfish or do the horseshoe crab hustle!
Live Animal Encounter - $40 (Indoor parties only!)($50 after May 31st)
Get up close and personal with the Butterfly Pavilion's ambassador animals including Rosie, the Butterfly Pavilion's friendly Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula. Children will learn all about Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Emperor Scorpions and other fascinating animals through a hands-on 30-40 minute education presentation. Party participants will then get to hold Rosie for a photo opportunity.
Garden Safari - $40 (Outdoor parties only!)($50 after May 31st)
Engage all five senses as you explore our Discovery Garden. Learn how Colorado native plants and animals work together in their natural habitats. Then team up with your friends and family to complete a scavenger hunt!
"Pete the Praying Mantis" Mascot Appearance and Guided Tour - $75($85 after May 31st)
Schedule a surprise guest appearance from Pete the Praying Mantis for the perfect picture moment! Pete's "handler" will provide fun exciting facts about mantids and other invertebrates as you visit our exhibits together. The average Pete visit and tour lasts 40 minutes.
Fun Add-on Party Favors
Butterfly Pavilion Gift Shop Gift Cards - $5 per card
Make your take home gift easy by letting the kids choose what they want directly out of our gift shop! Purchase a $5 gift card for each guest to use in the Butterfly Pavilion gift shop.
Earth Friendly Favors - $6 per favor
Make your party favors environmentally friendly and fun with our Earth Friendly Favors. These party favors include plantable confetti, a '3D' bug sticker, a Smencil's Gourmet Scented Pencil, a colorful notepad, and handmade crocheted finger puppet toy from Peru, all wrapped up in a solid colored bandana with a card that tells the story behind each item inside. These favors make wonderful thank you gifts for your guests.
