A Night of inspiring music at the Butterfly Pavilion

Note: The Butterfly Pavilion will close early on Sat., Nov. 12 for the gala. Last entrance at 3:15 p.m.; building closed at 4:00 p.m.

Join us on Saturday, November 12, 2011, as we host our second annual Wings and Strings Gala, a night of inspiring music. This fundraising gala will feature gourmet South American cuisine, specialty cocktails, silent auction, and mesmerizing music from Peruvian guitarists and special guest Sean Kelly from The Samples.

All guests will have the opportunity to explore the Butterfly Pavilion's interactive exhibits, including our rainforest featuring 1,600 free-flying tropical butterflies. Help us unmask the beauty of insects this winter and raise a record $25,000 for science education and conservation.

Jayson Luber, KMGH Channel 7 news traffic reporter, will emcee the event. A Silent Auction will be held featuring eco-inspired products and services, exciting adventures, and local attractions.

The Butterfly Pavilion combines science education with interactive fun to teach visitors about invertebrates and conservation. Our five immersive exhibits, including our rainforest filled with 1,600 free-flying tropical butterflies, provide a year-round, unforgettable experience. Visitors can get up close and personal with live animals, enjoy daily educational programs, explore the wonder of the outdoors on the nature trail, and discover the newest traveling exhibit. Butterflies are just the beginning.
