
Butterfly Pavilion Teacher Workshops provide quality professional development opportunities for educators of all kind! Designed to correlate with current education standards and trends, workshops cover a range of science topics, while incorporating art, literature and STEM based education. Recertification credit (with tuition fee) is available through the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) and payable during the workshop.

The new Project WILD Aquatic guide for 2013 has just been released and is one of the most widely-used conservation and environmental education programs among educators of students in kindergarten through high school. Learn how to introduce these concepts and activities into your curricula while aligning your lessons with state standards.

Our hands-on, interdisciplinary activities (science, art, literacy, geography, math) will complement and add to any classroom life science unit.

This fun and interactive program provides an introduction to environmental education, encouraging children to explore, discover and communicate in expressive ways. Topics include exploring nature with five senses, meeting neighborhood trees, and experiencing trees through the seasons.
