Butterfly Pavilion adult programs appeal to the lifelong learner in all of us. Whether taking a relaxing stroll through our rainforest, learning new techniques for that perfect photo, or gaining a behind the scenes pass to our research center, we offer experiences that engage a diversity of interests.

All classes are facilitated in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Come escape from the work week with our fun, educational programs!

Classes for Groups

To receive the group rate, groups must

Pre-register;
Have at least 10 or more paying individuals (any mix of children, adults or seniors); and
Pay as a group (with a single transaction) upon arrival.
We recommend pre-registering at least a week in advance.

Even grown-ups can learn a thing or two at the Butterfly Pavilion! Take part in adult-focused classes with topics ranging from the role of insects across cultures to an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how and where we get our butterflies. Looking for a fun program to share with your community? We'll come to your facility with an interactive program perfect for adults that includes an engaging presentation with live animals, fun biology facts, and we’ll stick around to answer all of your questions. New! Rainforest Yoga

Stretch your wings in a tropical oasis with Rainforest Yoga.

This hour-long evening class led by a certified yogi provides a nature-centric Yoga experience to rejuvenate your mind and body. Surround yourself with exotic plants and beautiful butterflies and meet other Yoga enthusiasts in the community. Sunset Strolls

Join us for an intimate, in-depth, and inspirational after-hours stroll through the rainforest!

Enchant your eyes, ears--and nose!--on a guided tour of the sights, sounds, and smells of the Butterfly Pavilion rainforest. Join us at dawn to discover how the conservatory comes alive with flurries of butterflies and a potpourri of tropical scents once the sun goes down. Click

Engage your right and left brain with these dual purposed workshops designed to increase science content knowledge and awaken the artist in everyone!

Butterfly Pavilion Teacher Workshops provide quality professional development opportunities for educators of all kind! Designed to correlate with current education standards and trends, workshops cover a range of science topics, while incorporating art, literature and STEM based education. Tripod Open Photography Sessions

Relish a quiet hour of tripod photography in the tropical rainforest before we open our doors to the public. Snap photos of awakening butterflies and exotic tropical flowers in the morning light. Sessions are offered monthly and begin at 7:45 am. Click here for 2013 dates and times.

Whether you’re a paparazzo or can’t figure out your camera phone, join expert photographer Bob Krugmire for hands-on instruction that will teach you to maximize the potential of both you and your camera!
