Help Us Protect Our Animals

Animals living in the Tropical Conservatory roam free, unimpeded by cages. Oils and bacteria carried on human hands can stress the animals, shortening their lifespan. By not touching the animals, visitors help keep them safe and healthy.

Donations of all sizes are recognized in our annual report, and on our website, if the donor wishes. All donors also receive an official donation letter, for tax purposes.

Donations of $100 and over are also acknowledged in our quarterly newsletter.

Donations of $500 and over are also recognized on a granite wall in our “Wings of the Tropics” butterfly exhibit.

Donations of $1,000 and over are given special recognition.

Donor Challenge 2010

What is it??  If 25 new donors make a contribution to the pavilion before July 15, the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County will grant us $5,000 for use in updating and renovating our Butterfly Conservatory

The Community Foundation believes in our contribution to environmental education and conservation, and invites new donors to join in supporting our work.

What will the money be used for??
Our "Wings of the Tropics" Butterfly Conservatory is the heart of our conservation and education programs, and it is one of the few places in the world that allows people to share a living, tropical eco-system with invertebrates and tropical plants from around the world.
Each donation will enable us to make some important updates to the Conservatory, including new flowers that will be better nectar sources, improved safety railings, and improvements to our water features.

What size donation is needed??  Gifts of $25 and up will help us to qualify for the grant, any gift is welcome.

How can you give??  You can write a check or give cash
