Diet: Photosynthetic with zooxanthellae and microparticles in the water column
Facts: 1. Will fight by emitting chemicals to ward off other corals when they come too close
2. Has four forms of reproduction: Budding, laceration, fission, and sexual reproduction
3. When introduced into a new area, the mushroom coral floats around until it finds a nice shaded area to live
4. The mouth protrudes from the middle of the animal
