Reader Rail Information:With over 5,000 species this is the largest family of spiders in the world. Some of the most interesting spiders are members: the world’s only vegetarian spider (Bagheera kiplingi) and the world’s only gliding spider (Maratus voltans) are both jumping spiders.

The Butterfly Pavilion combines science education with interactive fun to teach visitors about invertebrates and conservation.
